Farm had Visitors from America@@@    2007/07/22

40 participants to PTP Program came to NokanotoTown on July 20 to learn about kodai-mai, Japanese ancient rice.  They are junior high school students and teachers from America.  They enjoyed mochi-tuki, making rice cake.  They also visited Noto-jyofuCenter and tried weaving cloth called Noto-jyofu.  Noto-jyofu is traditional hemp cloth produced in Noto Region.  We took some pictures of them.
PTP stands for gPeople to Peopleh.   PTP Program is similar to so-called gSeinen-no-Tsubasah, International Youth Exchange Program in Japan.@You can see moving images of PTP activities here.
